This site is dedicated to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Prevention which are in most cases preventable, however the consequences of a Pulmonary Embolism (PE) may be fatal!

Searching for DVT in an internet search engine will bring countless sites containing clinical and research data and information for clinicians. This site is aimed purely at giving information to inform you of what a DVT is and how to help prevent them and lower your risk of death in relation to a DVT.

ATTENTION THIS IS NOT meant to be a site for diagnosis or treatment that is between you and your Doctor/Clinician as you are all individuals and need to be looked at as a whole, not in isolation.

The site is based on three main cartoon characters The Goody - Clot Stopper™ wants to help you prevent a DVT whilst the Baddy Davey-T™ and his side kick aPE™ are out to create havoc. Although the content is not what you normally associate with medical conditions please note the mission is simple.
